A group of Dominican sisters have been banned from teaching (or anything else) in the diocese of Madison, Wisconsin. They are part of a New Agey spirituality center. One of them describes her religious life thusly:
Aren't ya glad ya asked?
Reminds me of the mission statement of the Dominican ladies on Long Island, that they want to be responsible members of the universe and, with the world as their frontier, open to the Spirit.
Whatever happened to nuns' devotion to the Infant of Prague?
My spiritual practice includes an Earthling’s contemplative way of BE-ing in the NOW,
continuing lively work in quantum awareness and honoring the Oneness of the diversity of all life.
