I supported George Bush on a few issues I thought were important, but when it came to immigration he was on the wrong side. On this, Obama recognizes a kindred evil spirit.
I think, when all is said and done, the record of history will be kind to Bush 43, who, I think, really did make decisions based on what he thought was best for the country. Sure he made some bad decisions, but he truly believed in the dream of America. That's all we can hope for in a president.
The sock monkey in chief, on the other hand, will be remembered as a man whose scant presidential portfolio will include one of the most disastrous pieces of legislation ever crafted, and staying silent in the face of an unspeakable atrocity.
