Well, not really.
I was reading my email, stretched out on my couch with my laptop, on the second floor, when the by-now recognizable feeling of an earthquake rocked me. A few seconds where, even though there was no shaking of objects or, worse, that quick-sharp punch, but a definite sense of rolling for a few seconds.
You just wait. And hope.
Now it's on the news. No real damage. It was a 4.1, in the East Bay, centered about 4 miles below the surface in the Calaveras Fault, about 65 miles away in Morgan Hill.
