Not that I care

About the State of the Union Speech. I'm with Justice Scalia about it being an undignified and juvenile spectacle. And a waste of time media event. (That was true even when GWB was in office.) The Constitution only requires a communication "from time to time". From Jefferson to Taft, it was a written report. Good idea. Wouldn't you know it was Professor Wilson who started up the joint address to Congress that we now endure. One more of his many blessings.

But I just read in the Christian Science Monitor,
The president, Obama advisers have said, will describe five “pillars” for “winning the future” – education, infrastructure, innovation, deficit reduction, and reform of government.
Please don't tell me that the speech will talk about Five Pillars.
Please.
Guess what else has Five Pillars?

Post SOTU. No pillars. Praise Jesus.

So, what's your guess on matching the two five pillars?

Mine is:
1. education: Shahadah (declaration of faith)
2. infrastructure: Zakat (alms for the Muslim poor)
3. innovation: Hajj (renewal by pilgrimage to Mekkah)
4. deficit reduction: Saum (fasting)
5. reform of government: Salat (daily prayers whenever the minaret guy starts shouting through a loudspeaker system)

Did you know that making a stop at Jerusalem really ought to be part of one's Hajj? This is just one of the many factors that say Jerusalem should be return'd to the arrangements prior to 1967 when persons of all faiths were easily able to visit this holy city.

Nicely match'd, Anon. :)

Planetarily, though, what about these guesses?
Shahadah: Saturn
Salat: Jupiter
Zakat: Mars (incoming, landing alephs are alms for the Man)

Islam wishes to suppress the vision of the Hermaphroditic planets (those after the union of the two natures reveal'd at the moon). The opening (pre-first) surah of the Quran seems to asssociate Venus, Mercury and the Sun with deviations from the straight path. Accordingly, if Saum is lunar, then what do say of Hajj? and if Hajj is lunar what to say of Saum?

Since post-new moons are so much the climax for Islam, Hajj as the climax 'should' be lunar. As lunar, Hajj could suggest the pilgrimage of the Israelites (doing a running-away, Hajj, from Egypt) on the face of the moon (Sin) to the promised Land, Mecca, the wound. They throw stones at Satan [developing ego in will to power is interpreted not as God, but merely blameworthy resistantness, even though even Job's me which is not from Satanic ressentiment complaints about lack of dignity nevertheless doesn't understand initially, isn't mere compliantness].

But the fasting of Ramadan suggests negation of fake essence, purification from the flimflam in the beginning from Chronos the old man (in the moon). This is lunar, especially Athena-Minerva-Lilith, the new moon all dark. The "night of power" [Laylat (lilith) al-Qadr] occurs during the fasting of Ramadan -- recollecting the beginning of the revelation of the Quran to Mohammed. Is Hajj the lunar trek recollecting, negating, going back on the Saturn-Jupiter-Mars journey?

Saum: Moon (the "night of power" occurs during the fasting of Ramadan)

Re Hajj: The Israelites' pilgrimage was on the face of the moon (Sin). Is Hajj the trek from the moon to earth (the wound, Mecca)?

The president's speech should have placed the themes in this order, or the reversal thereof:
education, reform of government, infrastructure, deficit reduction, innovation.
