Clowns, pirates*, gambling, drugs, lesbians.
Themes which, if movies are centered on them, make me fall asleep.
*One exception: Johnny Depp's acting skills are such that I happily watched him as Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean series.. His ability to combine flamboyant feyness with convincing heterosexuality deserves an Oscar.

So a movie about gambling, drug-addicted lesbian pirate clowns would be chloroform to you? :)
I always liked Captain Jack. His behavior never seemed to match his age, almost like a teenage boy playing at being pirate: everything is a game, he's genuinely shocked when things get dire. Girls' and women's romantic attraction to Captain Jack has always seemed a little creepy to me, like a woman having the hots for an inexperienced teenager who is way in over his head. Captain Jack could be my best friend, or maybe even my brother, but never a lover. Explanation?

LOL.
Explanation? Seems pretty clear. Not masculine enough for you.
I bet the other Captain Jack, Jack Harkness would get a different response from you.
Ohhhh, yeah. Captain Jack Harkness can introduce himself any time he likes. The fact that Ianto reminds me a bit of myself (so darned earnest about the whole thing!) doesn't hurt. And that coat... Ianto wasn't lying, it really is quite nice.
