That if only White votes had been counted in 2012, Obama would only have won 10 states. And if only White men's votes had been counted, just seven? Out of 50?
Think about that.
And the Republican Party --90% of whose votes in 2012 came from Whites--is hysterically (and fruitlessly) seeking to woo the Latinos.

The stupidity of this Republican tactic- wasting time on a group who will never vote Republican- is like Democrats deciding they need to woo pro-life voters. I won't say that it will never happen: If, say, the Republicans had a nice, long ownership of the White House and Congress, the Dems would do anything to appear more attractive. I think people over at the National Review have made similar points.
No, what conservatives (not Republicans, they're a lost cause) need to do is hammer away at Detroit, Scandalgate, and Obamacare. But the party leadership will muzzle conservatives and threaten to cut funding. Sarah Palin recently revealed that her rather demure behavior in the '08 campaign was because McCain's people gave her a gag order.
A concerted jumping-ship by conservatives and right-leaning libertarians into a third party before the '14 midterms might sting, but we really need a change. Just as the Whigs gave way to the Republicans, the Republicans must give way to something else.
