Aging brain

To see if my brain still works, I tried to fill in the names of all the Lower 48 states on a blank US map.

(In 5th grade geography, Sister Maria Celina made us draw the map entirely from memory. I got 100%)

Got everything right now except

Switched Minnesota and Wisconsin, Vermont and New Hampshire
Misplaced Missouri,
And totally blanked on Indiana and Arkansas.

Okay which state, not counting Alaska, extends north of the 49th parallel?

Minnesota, due to a mistake in drawing the border in the late 18th century.
