One of the structures of formal religious study and teaching is the locus theologicus, the theological place. While on the bus out of Manhattan for the two and a quarter hour trip to where my mom lives on the North Fork of Long Island, I read the complimentary copy of The New York Post.
Boy, if you want a locus theologicus for the doctrine of the Fall --be it the orthodox or the Gnostic version-- you've got plenty of juice. Humans behaving badly, page after page, with pictures. Politicians, cops, babysitters, cooks, athletes, and above all, wealthy and famous celebrities.
Were it all translated to image, you'd have a Breugel.

... You're in NYC, place of bagels. Bagels are NYC donuts. Stephen Hawking says today's Heisenberg-relativity fallen universe is a donut full of misbehaving quanta. Have a Breugel bagel!
