Joy in Bagdad by the Bay

Hundreds of thousands of folks are lining the streets on this sunny warm day to welcome the Giants home. Willie Mays is riding in the parade.

A happy town.

(Solitary fan above; a native San Franciscan, not me.)

What is the meaning of the orange shamrock here?

Being sorta color blind, I didn't notice. And the shamrock with SF on it may be from Irish Night at the ballpark. SF Giants colors are orange and black.

I'll have to query the fell in the picture.

The Giants' colors are orange and black, so since this is an "Irish Night" t-shirt, the field is green, the shamrock orange, the lettering black. For "Jewish Night," I got a black beanie with an orange Star of David, plus "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" played by a some local klezmer band.

I prob could have figured that...my brain was having a vague thought that the Giants were trying to say something about Ulster, maybe...

"Being sorta color blind, I didn't notice."

Imagine a team logo of a bunch of blue bananas; this logo is about as jarringly opposite-to-normal to me.
