Refugee hospitality

B is returning from his annual foreign voyage in a couple of days and this weekend, as he has done for most years since we met, will be offering me refuge and hospitality for and from Gay Pride.

I'll depart the Castro and spend some time in the unfabulous sylvan realms of Golden Gate Heights.

I do not really know what to make of my history of attachment and detachment from groups. It may be the virtue of a restless truth-seeker. It may be the repetition neurosis of an attachment-hungry schizoid. Or both. Cycles of projection and withdrawal. But I do know that there are few group attachments I have made which I have not eventually unmade. And a few which I have broken and then re-attached or cobbled together somehow or other.

I am no fan of post-modernism, but I sometimes feel my identity as unstable as the post-moderns or even the Buddhists, would have it. Perhaps I am just more aware of the multiplicity of the psyche, as Jung described it, with the ego being the dominant but not the only complex. But my restlessness is undeniable.

Just don't bring a scimitar to a nonviolence fight.

... Well, you know the phrase "bringing a gun to a knife fight." Contrarian moi was just thinking how neo-Sulieman's moderating Islamic warriors would no doubt back down before the psychical intimdation and shaming that constitutes nonviolent violence. One would have to bring something even more intimidating than a weapon to make a nonviolent intimidator back down in shame.

We can't look to Jesus for assistance, since He seems really to have meant "Don't resist evil" in the pharisaical-pharsee dualistic game, whereas surely He ought to have said that to really defeat evil and enable goodness to conquer and dominate the power structures of the oikoumene different military moral tactics are required -- the tactics of nonviolent violence.

For instance, when Great Britain was eager to get out of India, nonviolent resistance gave the Raj the excuse he needed to fail and withdraw with dignity. Or when American Man wanted America's race karma system to go under, then nonviolence provided the necessity, althought admittedly some rioting and regular violent violence was necessary in order to provide the pretext for the necessity of training whites in critical theory at universities, in order to inter or bury sections of American Osiris.

Since American Osiris, in contrast to Egyptian Osiris, is only a selfer of enormities and oppressions, no doubt American Isis won't try to discover his inter'd sections and reconstitute him. His neo-Islamic light-skin'd Haitian-Ethiopian etc son may throw the inter-sectioners -- American Set -- into the underground, but he presumably won't rule as the ego son of old Osiris. Maybe he won't even understand that he is the ego son of Osiris, since Islam has proved that Canaan is only a Kuffar without knowledge of genealogy, and not the son of Noah. ... Doesn't the Koran prove that Noah's only son died in the Flood? which consequently proves that entire human race is not peopled by Noah.

One intriguing possible agôn could be an encounter between a nonviolent ruler and a canny inner-path adept of Persian ketman.

The moronic ruler dares the ketman genius to hit him, and the ketman genius feigns shame of his violent impulses and wish to dominate, and backs down, leaving the outer world or _the_ world in the apparent control of the nonviolent ruler. How splendidly different all this is from the struggle for recognition in the world by risking violent death of self as described by Hegel!

Christopher Hitchens enthuses for this arrangement in "The Persian Version" (Atlantic magazine, July August 2006). I guess the beauty of it is that geniuses can tell their selfs that because of the brute stupidity of the ruler of the world, geniuses in burkhas are compel'd to craft their art, spirituality, poetry etc as tracks out of the contemptible world into the clever wise _this_ world. The whole meaning of culture and stuff is for leaving the world.

And supposedly the ruler of the world is so obtuse he doesn't even perceive that this is what is happening. He surely couldn't be ironic in his manifest failure to detect ketman. He is the servant of the inner path by providing the pretext or necessity for inner path esotericism, but obviously he doesn't perceive this meaning of reality. He doesn't see that he is despised by the geniuses of ketman, just as the Grand Inquisitor doesn't perceive that he is a servant of unreally present inner-path diners to whom he provides free earthly bread.

No symposium-style discourses occur at the Grand Inquisitor's banquet (Koran 78:35), but the Grand Inquisitor is too moronic to understand this.

So when a nonviolent archon begins to browbeat a ketman genius via shaming tactics which are intended to bring out every ruler's own real shame to use force and violence in order to dominate, the ketman genius pretends to submit and pretends to give Hegelian recognition to the nonviolent dominator. But actually the ketman genius doesn't really respect or recognize the nonviolent dominator: behind his Hegelianly "slavish" show of capitulation he is secretly full of pride, as Hitchens remarks of the ketman adept.

Thus the destruction of freedom of political speech in Anglo-Saxony won't matter. Q.E.D.

Ketman will ride in and provide a brave, glorious alternative behind a guise of apparent slavishness. It's true that the Bible, Homer, Plato, Aristophanes, Augustine, Aquinas, Luther, Machiavelli, Hobbes, Descartes, Shakespeare, Spinoza, Swift, Rousseau, Hegel, et al on up to Nietzsche and Heidegger, will meet with the Alexandrian Library remedy, but li'l poems by Rumi might be overlook'd, and that's what really matters, as desublimators have proved.

Once the Bible has been done away with, no doubt the Quran will have outlived its usefulness. ... And when the higher love has been removed from the romance between man and woman in _the_ world (1Cor 7:33f), perhaps the higher love too won't be necessary any more.

Strauss anticipates a Universal Tyrant that is too moronic to perceive that philosophy occurs under-ground or under the earth or cave via the inner path out of the outer world. (end of "On Tyranny").

m Other-shmother. Without aions of attachment to maya stuff, detachment or resignation couldn't occur, and nirvana )ostensibly the ananda that happens when one stops hitting one's head against a wall( would be impossible. No drama, only boringness. ... Sankhya intimates that unmoved mover Purusha owes big time to the three constituting gunas that attach matter )via dog whistles?( to soul that can be shooken off again.
