Orlando Espin, professor of theology and religious studies at the University of San Diego, where he also directs the interdisciplinary Center for the Study of Latino/a Catholicism led a workshop entitled “LGBTQs among Latinos/as and Latino/as among the White LGBTQs.“

Just reading this stuff lowers the oxygen content in the room.

The oxygen removal is karmic payment for western would-be-anonymous Christianity's long long presentation as validated by solving social problems -- whether abolishing the slave trade or helping kids stay off drugs, or building hospitals, or you name it. Conservative or liberal, Prot or RC or Mennonite. The same foundation is urged.
That institutional or organized Christianity is first of all or even partly justify'd as providing revelation, truthing, and this with glory -- when has Ex Cathedra last heard one of our clerics say this?
So Orlando Espin strolls into an educational institution of Catholic Christianity and goes on about white and Latino LGBTQs. Who can object now that the foundation of Christianity is inclusion?
But Nietzsche said that Christianity's only excuse was its doctrine, and accordingly a doctrine-less anonymous Christianity of humanitarian morality would not be permitted to continue. Our clerics seem to accept this alternative, and have accepted that Christian morals be replaced with the morals of the Tawhid system. They hate Christian doctrine even more than they approved of the morality. ... Who knew that the Grand Inquisitor would go Islamic?
Cheops Styx?
I'm wondering how you're supposed to say a word like "Latino/a". Do you just blend the vowels together - Latinoah - or should you put a glottal stop in between, like Hebrew or Hawaiian? Latino'a. Ditto the plural. Latinossas or Latinos'as?
