The Muslims who want to build a community center and mosque near Ground Zero are people who have only contempt for America. At best, it is stunningly insensitive. Islam teaches them that they have the only perfect religion and that they are the best of communities, superior by far to all others. And they truly believe this, something most Americans, especially post-religious liberals of the kind that infect NY, cannot really understand.
If this abomination does get built and someone decides to blow it up, the Muslims will have only themselves to blame for this provocation and I for one will not mourn.
