I defended the Pope on his Israel visit. He has to walk a line between the two sides.

In Latin, ex cathedra means "from the chair". When the Pope proclaims an infallible religious truth, he does it ex cathedra.Although I'm sitting on a second-hand couch and I am definitely not the Bishop of Rome, this blog is my cathedra.
