John Barrowman, who plays Captain Jack on Torchwood, is a guy and a character I like. In real life, Barrowman is civilly partnered to his own guy, Scott Gill, and feels that marriage does not fit as an institution for two men.
On Torchwood, he rules the roost and loves women and men with equal masculine passion and dignity. He was rejected for the role of Will in Will & Grace because he wasn't gay enough. :)

Of course, he is too masculine. A friend was all excited about the gay prom queen. I told her I'd be proud when a gay kid won prom king. I don't like this gender bending trend. Should probably have her read Androphilia, but that might make her head explode.
Amen, Leah. How about Prom King?
+1 Leah. I'm glad I'm not the only one who was put off by the male prom queen. Apart from the fact that I don't see any need to identify with the female gender just because I'm gay (why can't I be gay and king?), I thought of how the girls - who actually dream of being prom queen - were screwed by the gimmick.
