The keynote address at the LCWR is a long and bloviated song of narcissistic praise to absolute identification with Western liberalism and the agenda of the eco-feminist Democrat Left as the culmination of history and divinity. The suicidal disappearance of women's religious orders is, in classical Burnham style, celebrated as their greatest achievement.
The word "Christ" is only mentioned once outside of quoting Vatican documents. The word "Catholic" never appears.
Despite "bravely" quoting feminist icon Alice Walker that "we are not girls", that's exactly what they are.

Yawn....
I suppose you should be grateful that there were "women of color" quoted in the document; these nuns are about as White as the Tea Party. They'd only be the "Church of the Future" if this were the year 1850.
Sheesh. I would've expected this kind of clap-trap from a feminist New Age pamphlet. How Rome tolerates this continuous quasi-heresy in the LCWR is beyond me.
