No, I don't think my manhood would be diminished if I submitted to him. I think it would be vindicated, as I would be assuming the role that our energies naturally lead us to. I would become the altar on which both our masculinities would be transfigured. And that's a pretty awesome thought. I've accepted that I'm more of a follower personality, the one to take direction rather than command. The housecarl, not the thane. One always need the other.
